    Job Summary and Qualifications

    As the Registered Operating RoomCharge Nurse, you will supervise nursing service activities in the Operating Room. You will be responsible for filling in when the manager is absent.

    What you will do in this role:

    • You will participate in the planning and distribution of patient assignments
    • Support your nursing staff by communicating with physicians in regard to patient conditions
    • You will facilitate the process of reporting patient status to the appropriate staff
    • Manage the nursing care of your assigned patients
    • You will assess plans and evaluate patient care needs
    • You will carry out physician orders

    Qualificationsfor this role:

    • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing?
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center?
    • Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure?
    • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment ***online certification not acceptable?
    • ACLS as required by facility?
    • CNOR certification preferred?

    of Fruitville, The Meadows, Lakewood Ranch, Siesta Key, St. Armands and Sarasota
    Springs. Our AAAHC accredited center performs over 400 cases a month.
    Services in Cosmetic, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, Pediatric, Podiatry, Urology, and Infertility
    procedures are available. Our center is five miles from the Gulf of Mexico beaches and centered

    Division.
