    Job Summary:

    The Process Control Systems Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all Port Neal site control systems, industrial networks, and other related systems. The supervisor directly manages a team of two technicians and any other outside resources as needed to meet site requirements and should have a high level of understanding of plant control systems including but not limited to DCS, SIS, PLC, BMS, industrial networking equipment, alarm management, and cybersecurity.

    Key Job Elements:

    Manage team to provide support to Operations and Maintenance in tasks required to improve operating unit performance and/or reliability, troubleshoot problems, and support or prepare for plant outages.

    Manage and support engineering design and Management of Change (MOC) processes for control systems related projects and modifications to ensure compliance with budgetary requirements, timelines, site standards and all applicable codes.

    Design control system modifications to accommodate system expansions and upgrades.

    Develop control system configuration and testing standards/procedures.

    Plan and perform control system administrative functions such as patches, upgrades, and hardware or software maintenance activities.

    Conduct system 'back-up' and storage of software/configuration files and develop disaster recovery plans and procedures.

    Manage site alarm management standards and practices.

    Manage and facilitate knowledge base and skill training to control systems team and other appropriate CF personnel. Participate in corporate best practice team and standard development.

    Ensure company cybersecurity practices are followed.

    Maintain all site control systems related documentation.

    Position Requirements:

    1. A minimum of 5 years of experience with DCS & PLC design, installation, and maintenance (Yokogawa or DeltaV DCS and Allen Bradley PLC is preferred).

    2. Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, chemical, or mechanical) or an associate's degree with 5 years of additional related work experience.

    3. Experience in a chemical processing environment and Management of Change.

    4. Must be able to enter plant operating sites utilizing ladders and platforms in excess of 100 feet, entering confined spaces, utilizing all required personal protective equipment.

    5. Strong leadership, interpersonal and effective team skills.

    6. Good general knowledge of PC software applications, including Office 365 suite and able to utilize computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) system.

    7. Good general knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols.

    8. Works in a safe manner that promotes EHS goals of the plant and the company.

    9. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and decision-making skills.

    10. Capable of handling several projects and support activities simultaneously.
