Loss Prevention Field Agent

Job Summary: Responsible for providing undercover field surveillance for the Public Safety Department and for protecting the assets of park Guests, Team Members and company. This position is accountable for delivering a superior Guest experience, while enforcing all park policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducting in-park and external investigations of loss situations; including shoplifting, re-sale of tickets, vandalism, theft of services, etc.
• Conducting external interviews of Guests involved in loss
• Conducting witness interviews to document details of events
• Preparing legal documentation of observations conducted
• Interacting with Guests of all ages and explain legal consequences of actions
• Conducting mobile, stationary, and video surveillance of internal and external investigations
• Testifying to observations when required
• Reviewing case reports prepared by agents to ensure accuracy and completion within corporate guidelines
• Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
• Assisting in other areas of the Public Safety department
• Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• Excellent attention to detail required
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner with Park Management, Public Safety Team Members and Guests while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity
• Be available to work flexible hours at night and weekends
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred and/or willingness to learn

Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
