    As the Nurse Director Critical Care, you will report to the Vice President and the Chief Nursing Officer. Your role involves overseeing 70-80 dedicated staff members and managing 42 neuro-critical care beds. You will be the linchpin between physicians and the patient care team, collaborating with administrators, staff, and other managers to ensure our services consistently exceed expectations. Your responsibilities include assessing and prioritizing opportunities for improvement, implementing effective changes, and evaluating the outcomes of process improvement activities. You will handle departmental budget, resource management, and ensure staff educational needs are continually met.

    Top 6 Requirements:

    • Three years of recent RN acute care experience in an ICU setting
    • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Current RN license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
    • Proven leadership experience with full accountability for patient care units (manager or director level)
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to implement effective changes
