Key Responsibilities: As the Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services, you will lead the way in shaping the future of the following departments:
- Surgical Pre-Op Holding Area
- Surgical Post Anesthesia Care Unit
- Heart and Vascular Prep and Recovery Area
- Pre-operative and Post Operative Care Area for Interventional Radiology
Your role will encompass managing daily work activities, ensuring quality, productivity, and operational excellence while contributing to strategic and operational objectives. Be a mentor, guide staffing decisions, and implement policies and procedures for a safe and effective work environment. This role has the unique opportunity to oversee multiple units across not only thePerioperativeService Line but also the Heart and Vascular Service Line, allowing you to grow your expertise. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing.
- 5 years of leadership experience (in PACUsetting)
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 90 days.
- ANCC-recognized certification within one year (if at HMH).
- Prior acute care hospital experience is essential.
