    Heidelberg Materials is looking for a Dispatcher to be based in Vancouver, BC. This position is responsible for the dispatching of ready mix concrete drivers and will have a tremendous impact on the day to day operations of our business. The Dispatcher plays an integral role in providing superior customer service while maintaining an emphasis on product quality and costs.     What Youll Get To Do:

    • Day-to-day dispatching of up to 80 ready mix trucks from 10 concrete plants
    • Interact with customers and satisfy requests for information and changes in shipping requirements
    • Monitor all aspects of concrete delivery and supply
    • Interact with all concrete division staff on dispatch related matters
    • Provide leadership to ready mix truck drivers

    Who we are looking for:

    • Minimum of 3 years experience dispatching
    • Must be willing to work flex hours including Saturdays.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
    • Familiar with WCB/Employment Standards/Ministry of Transport policies and regulations is an asset
