    Job Summary and Qualifications

    We are seeking a Hemodialysis Registered Nurse on a PRN basis for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.     What you will do in this role:

    • You will coordinate with nursing care for the patient and participate in patient/family education.
    • You will work collaboratively with ancillary staff and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
    • You will participate in performance improvement activities to improve patient safety and quality of care.
    • You will maintain cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and other customers.
    • You will promote a supportive, team-work oriented environment.
    • You will fulfill departmental responsibilities consistent with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of HCA Houston Healthcare.

    What qualification you will need:

    • Current RN license in the state of Texas or multi-state Compact License (Employees with RN compact license are required to obtain TX RN license within 90 days of hire.)
    • Minimum of 1-year RN experience in a Dialysis setting required.
    • Ability to operate at various facilities.
    • Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
    • Or Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
    • Registered Nurse.
    • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
