    Goldfarb Properties owns and manages over 6,000 apartments in the New York metropolitan area. The family business recently entered its third generation and has been in existence since 1953. The company owns and manages approximately 60 buildings, the majority of which are residential apartment buildings located in Northern New Jersey, Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, and Westchester.Goldfarb Properties also operates as a residential design, development and construction company seeking an experienced, technically oriented Project Manager with impeccable credentials to join our team of construction executives for project management from design through completion.Position Overview:Candidate should have experience managing projects through all phases of design development, including bidding and contracts, preparation of control estimates and budgeting, and punch-list phases.The position will require managing and communicating with design consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and relations with municipal representatives. Duties include, but are not limited to, coordination of daily construction site activities, shop drawing review, scheduling, budgeting, bid leveling, shell and finish stage oversight and quality control compliance.Candidate must be proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, construction means and methods, building structure, waterproofing, MEP systems, fine finishes, preparations of sections, schedules, approval and documentation of submittals, budgeting, building codes, preparation of construction documents, site work and a general understanding of practical zoning.
