A hospital located in the Colorado mountains, is actively seeking an Assistant Nurse Director of Long Term Care to join their team.

The Assistant Nurse Director of Long Term Care will be a full-time, permanent employee for this growing health system that has provided exceptional patient care for over 80 years. This health system offers an array of inpatient and outpatient services, including a Trauma Center, Cancer Center, Family Birth Center, and Senior Care Center, and more.

This health system prides themselves in providing an array of different senior service options that are tailored to an individuals needs. The Assistant Nursing Director of Long Term Care will oversee a 50-bed Skilled Nursing Facility which has private rooms, a dedicated hspice suite that allows guests to stay with loved ones 24/hrs a day, a chapel, beuto shop, bistro, multiple cardens, and ample communal space. Residents also have access to occupational and physical therapy through the hospitals rehabilitation department. Responsibilities of the Assistant Nurse Director Long Term Care include overseeing day to day operations, maintaining resident records while adhering to state and federal regulations, assisting with staff education as needed, and ensuring MDS forms are accurate and timely.

The Assistant Nursing Director Long term Care must be a seasoned nurse holding their active RN license, previous MDS experience, and a clinical background working in a skilled nursing facility, long term acute care facility, rehabilitation hospital, or palliative care; ideally in a leadership role.
