Dietitian Nutritionist I
Unit Description:Join a team of dietitians who are passionate about their profession, with patients at the heart of everything we do.
Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for Abbott Northwestern Hospital located in Minneapolis, MN. Abbott Northwestern Hospital has been first place as Best Hospital in the Twin Cities for two years and second in Minnesota in the U.S. News & World Report 2023-24 Best Hospitals rankings for the last 11 years.
This position will cover a variety of units at three different hospitals - Abbot Northwestern, Mercy Unity, and United Hospitals. Schedule is stable, and typically two-week rotations at each hospital. No weekends or major holidays to work!
Benefits:
- reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal
- three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year
- reimbursement for continuing education events
- up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually
The successful candidate will:
- provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
- have order writing privileges to practice at full dietitian scope;
- educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; and/or
- have the opportunity to precept dietetic interns.

Qualifications & Requirements:Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a masters degree)
Credentials Requirement:
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
