Job Summary and Qualifications

The Monitor Technician provides EKG monitoring for the hospital at a centralized station. The Telemetry Tech is responsible for communication changes to the nurse in a timely manner and to escalate when needed. This position requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Basic clerical skills are needed to ensure accurate record keeping.

What qualifications you will need:

*High School or GED required. *N/A * Less than 1 years of EKG monitoring experience required. Preferred Education Preferred License/Certification Preferred Experience: *2 year Associates Degree preferred. *N/A *1 3 years of EKG monitoring experience preferred. Special/Additional Competencies or Qualifications: SKILLS: Organizational, Verbal, Interpersonal, Customer relations, Analytical, Grammar/Spelling, Read/Comprehend written instructions, Follow verbal instructions, Computer/Laptop, Clerical.
