    Lockheed Martin is seeking an energetic and high performing colleague with strong verbal and written communication skills to Lead our team of verification engineers in Sunnyvale, CA. You can build effective relationships across organizations, disciplines (electrical, mechanical, thermal, software) and with customers.

    As the Systems Engineering Verification Lead within the Requirements and Verification team, you will:
    Define and own the Verification Baseline
    Consult and advise on requirement language at all requirement levels (Segment to Component)
    Guide verification planning and sell-off of Segment, Element and Subsystem level requirements
    Work closely with the customer counterpart to define, validate and verify a large-scale system
    Prepare data, charts and status for verification review board, R&V working group, management meetings for status of requirement verification planning and execution
    Coordinating with Responsible System Engineers (RSEs) and Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) in planning and preparing requirements verification evidence for acceptance and approval
    Support System Test in development of Interface test objectives/requirements and evidence capture
    Support Special Programs' requirements and verification team projects and coordinate regularly with key partners to maintain program objectives
    Mentor junior staff and apply systems engineering change control process to retain control of the requirements and verification execution
    Define and work with staff to develop and maintain scripts for producing documents and reports from the DOORS database using various scripting languages/tools, such as JavaScript, DOORS eXtension Language (DXL), and MS-Office

    Basic Qualifications:
    Knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
    Demonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering disciplines to identify technical product characteristics to develop and document interface agreements
    Track record of making sound recommendations and following through with successful influencing and negotiation to desirable outcome
    Experience managing customer participation Working Group meetings, including preparing data, charts, and status
    Knowledge of DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition, and publication
    Final Top Secret security clearance to start, with the ability to obtain timely TS/SCI w/polygraph
    Desired Skills:
    Current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
    Familiarity with SP-RS Program Processes and Customer & Program Team
    Excellent communication skills to engage and influence program teams and leadership on design review criteria, products, delivery mechanisms, and execution of event.
    Problem-solving skills starting with scant threads of disparate information
    Familiarity with program and design review process (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)
    Knowledge and or training in the integration of requirements, design and technology during the design and development of complex systems.
    Capability to become knowledgeable of MBSE Toolsets & Concepts to drive the development of top-level interface documentation via MBSE Tools
    Proficiency with DOORS database and application of systems engineering change control process to retain control of the interfaces, requirements, and verification execution
    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
    Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

    'Pay Rate:
    The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $135,800 - $256,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
