A Magnet designated acute care hospital located inside the DMV region is currently searching for multiple experienced Medical ICU Registered Nurses to join their accredited healthcare team.

This hospital is home to over 500 licensed beds and is regionally renowned for offering a wide variety of diagnostic and treatment options while providing a trusting patient focused environment. The Medical ICU Registered Nurse will become a vital member of this nationally-recognized health system that is made up of internationally renowned physicians, advanced clinical research, and utilization of the latest medical technologies. This hospital is accustomed to offering a wide range of diagnostic and treatment medical and surgical services to include neurosciences, transplant services, oncology and gastroenterology, perioperative services, emergency and trauma services, among many others.

The Medical ICU Registered Nurse will join a specialized department that is accustomed to caring for some of the most critically ill patients within the hospital including those needing continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and post cardiac arrest hypothermia protocol. The Medical ICU Registered Nurse will work amongst a number of clinically advanced critical care physicians, nurse leaders and staff, respiratory therapists, pulmonologists, and case managers. This critical care department is able to provide each and every patient with a multidisciplinary intensive care team working around the clock to provide exceptional patient-centered care.

The Medical ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality professional nursing care to the patients within the Medical ICU Unit. The Medical ICU Registered Nurse is expected to be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and will have prior experience working in a fast-paced Medical ICU. The Medical ICU is also home to the hospitals rapid resource team and the Medical ICU Nursing team are considered as resource nurses throughout the hospital.
