Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with a automotive manufacturing organization. Looking for aRobotic Engineer in Warren, MI. This is a 12-Month Contract with possibility of extension/conversion to perm/FTE.

Job Title: RoboticEngineer
Location: Warren, MI
Pay: $60-$62 an hour + benefits
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-10 Hour Shifts, Typically 7am to 5pm, occasional OT, 30-40% travel, possible weekends

This position is responsible for interfacing with ME departments and regional automation execution teams to document manufacturing requirements with robotic applications, including flying robots, vision guided robots, was robots, and pick/place robots.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate & validate new software/hardware for use in manufacturing plants
  
• Technical support for plant software issues, new equipment startup, troubleshooting, reprogramming, diagnostic equipment usage, and interfacing with skilled trades personnel
  
• Validation checklists of DCS zones and various robot specifications, plant technical support with development, planning, and strategies for maintaining and replacing obsolete equipment
  
• Occasional travel required within North America & globally to OEMs and plant sites
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science
  
• Minimum 5+ years experience within robotics engineering role
  
• Experience with multiple models of FANUC Robotics, DCS Validation setup, training & setting up of FANUC robots in FANUC TP language
  
• Preferred: GRS certified, Roboguide experience, process simulate experience, IR Vision experience, and designing/building/setting up/debugging manufacturing systems & automation systems.
