The Assistant Nurse Manager NICU will work for a 300+ bed academic acute care hospital thats known for providing a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services. Notable specialized services offered at this 350+ acute care hospital include their neurology program, cancer care, cardiac surgery, trauma center, rehabilitation services, emergency medicine, and womens center.

    With over 3,000 annual births a year, this hospital is known for their Women and Children Service Line, including their Labor and Delivery unit, Mother Baby Postpartum unit, their Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, outpatient OB/GYN clinics, and Parent Education programs. The Assistant Nurse Manager NICU will be accountable for the Level 15+ bed Level III NICU, reporting to the Divisional Director of Women and Children Services. Responsibilities of the Assistant Nurse Manager NICU include overseeing day-to-day operations, acting as the department resource, staff scheduling, conducting new-hire interviews, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting new-hire and ongoing department education initiatives.

    The Assistant Nurse Manager NICU should be a seasoned nurse with previous management experience and a clinical background working in a Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU. The Assistant Nurse Manager NICU is eager to lead, educate, and mentor a nursing team.
