Business Development Representative

Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop and follow a prospecting process with goals and identified performance metrics established that are measurable.
Prospect for appointments with new clients via in-person meetings, phone, email, Zoom Info, LinkedIn, etc.
Research, organize, document, and maintain the divisions prospects and suspects via the new CRM system.
Qualify leads to determine size, business fit, competition, industry niche, and customer needs.
Communicate frequently with territory managers on prospects with significant sales potential.
Support sales, design, and customer service with prototype deliveries, sample pick-ups, customer communication, etc.
Assist the sales and customer service managers with special projects.
Report out monthly on prospecting status.COMPETENCY STATEMENT

Compensation & Benefits:
Education: BS degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
Experience: 1-3 years experience in B2B selling.
Strong Microsoft Suites skills
Travel: 70% - mostly day and car travel, and only occasionally an overnight stay will be required.
