Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the preventative, predictive maintenance and overall job planning for respective work areas. Coordinates and schedules all necessary parts, materials and outside services necessary to effectively plan the successful completion of the attractions preventative and predictive maintenance as well as performing venue project planning and scheduling. Manages all documentation related to parts procurement, preventative and predictive maintenance programs, and parts inventory. Manages all job plan updates and changes based on bulletins provided by the OEM and/or UO Engineering. Manages compliance documentation in accordance with UO Engineering and OEM direction.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage preventative and predictive maintenance by ensuring proper frequency and target completion to facilitate attraction schedules. Works closely with the ride management team in planning projects providing a detailed scope of work, written procedures and estimated time, materials and resources needed for all project repair work. Kits all parts for various jobs and stages materials/equipment in preparation for completion of work. Enter Discretionary Work Requests and creates work orders for interdepartmental fabrication and/or services.
- Maintains proper document control by ensuring attraction job plans are up to date and in accordance with the most recent manufacturers requirements (ECN/DCN process). Maintain the venues Network Outage PM Process. Partner with UO Engineering and manufacturers for drawing and procedural updates, creating and maintaining reports as needed.
- Organize project planning by serving as liaison between vendors and the venues for attraction repairs and enhancements to both ride and facility. Coordinate work schedule to accommodate both vendor and attraction availability and assure all tooling and parts are available for project completion. Write justification, scope of work, and all necessary documentation for projects. Coordinates vendor access and logistics to the respective venues. Stages all materials/equipment for work activities within area of responsibility.
- Maintain regulatory compliance by ensuring all attraction chemicals are in EHS SDS Database (Currently Sphera, formerly SiteHawk (formerly Dolphin). Coordinate pressure vessel inspections and Hydro/End of life compliance.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED required.
- Technical school preferred.
- Associate degree (AA) in General Education or Technology preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years experience in technical maintenance required;
- 3+ years experience in theme park maintenance preferred;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
