Standard Hours: 24
Job Shift: Shift 1
Shift Details: Two 7a-3:30p shifts and one 9a-5:30p each week. Rotating Saturday's, 7a-3:30p. One major/one minor holiday required. Self-scheduled trauma call.Work where every moment matters.

Job Description:
The Operating Room (OR) Nurse functions as a Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the OR. Provides individualized, age specific and culturally appropriate safe patient care. Follows hospital policies and procedures in accordance with AORN standards. Participates in patient education to include their family or designees regarding planning and providing of care. Upholds high-reliability standards and participates in unit and hospital-based quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred or to be obtained within 1-2 years of employment
- 2-3 years of perioperative nursing (preferred)
- Maintenance of CPR, BLS validation and attendance of annual Validation Day required
- The ability to manage patient care with current computer technology
- EPIC experience preferred
