About the Position
We are currently seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver for our client in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $26.88 per hour, with approximate weekly earnings of $1,350. The role involves local delivery of car parts with a focus on touch freight, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $26.88 Per Hour + OT after 40hrs
- Approximate Weekly Pay: $1,350
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: Between 8:30 PM & Midnight
- Shifts: 9 to 10 hours
- Stops: 2 to 6 stops per shift
Job Details
- Route Type: Local Delivery
- Freight: Touch freight - car parts
- Equipment: Hand truck, manual pallet jack, or by hand (nothing over 35 lbs)
- Handling: Delivery to dealers & shops; some nights may involve shuttle work only
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver car parts to various dealers and shops
- Handle freight using appropriate equipment
- Ensure timely deliveries and maintain communication with dispatch
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
Minimum Requirements
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Valid CDL A License
