    TheSr. ServiceNow System Administrator will be a critical part of theHRIS Team, reporting to the Director, HRIS. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the HR Service Delivery module of ServiceNow through design and configuration, reporting development, end user training and data management. The role will partner with other Workday HRIS Analysts, the IT team and key HR stakeholders to establish a best-in-class employee experience. The Sr. ServiceNow System Administrator is expected to not only understand the needs of our internal clients but also the technical needs of the software.

    The Types of Energy You Bring?

    • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow development and configuration, including but not limited to: creating basic to complex workflows, building catalog items based on business requirements, scripting, lifecycle events, etc.
    • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages, e.g. JavaScript, XML, HTML, SQL and PowerShell.
    • Experience with LDAP, MS Active Directory, ADFS and integration with ServiceNow to support onboarding and user changes.
    • Familiar with web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST).
    • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies.
    • Highly prefer 3+ years' experience in translating conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to project team
    • 1-3 years direct experience as a ServiceNow administrator desired. This includes, configuring core ServiceNow modules in an enterprise environment including the delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, catalog items and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions.
    • Experience on more than 1 ServiceNow implementation
    • Solid hands-on experience transitioning old legacy apps to more modern technology desired.
    • Demonstrates strong software development/configuration capabilities.
    • Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in an evolving environment.
    • Ability to train and mentor team members.
    • Proven experience supporting web-based applications, strongly desired.

    Gauges of Responsibility

    • Provide technical support, guidance, implementation of ServiceNow.
    • Serve as the HR Help Desk system administer resolving technical cases submitted by end users.
    • Collaborate with internal customers and HR stakeholders to understand their HR service delivery needs and translate them into ServiceNow configurations.
    • Designs requirements and builds documentation for existing and newly created functionality.
    • Configure, test and deploy changes as identified by the various teams.
    • Responsible for creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.
    • Develop dashboards based on customer requirements.
    • Lead efforts in the build out and maintenance of HR Service Catalog
    • Facilitate efforts in the construction of HR Knowledge Base
    • Developing and customizing ServiceNow workflows, forms, and scripts to meet business requirements.
    • Analyze, design, develop or modify ServiceNow HRSD module to meet business requirements.
    • Designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations with other systems and applications
    • Leading ServiceNow implementation projects and providing guidance to junior engineers.
    • Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
    • Troubleshooting complex ServiceNow issues and providing resolutions
    • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, such as design documents and user manuals
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and recommend solutions.
    • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and enhancements, recommending and implementing improvements to optimize HR service delivery processes.

    Education and Additional Requirements

    • ServiceNow System Admin Certification for HRSD preferred.
    • ITIL Foundations certification is highly desired.
    • Experience with an ITSM application is required. Testing, implementing, administering.
    • Proficiency with office tools (Excel, Power Point, Word,) a plus
    • Understanding of Project Management, not necessary to have a PMP, but a solid understand of Agile Project Management
