This acute care facility is home to 400+ beds, an adult/pediatric trauma center, NICU, robotic surgery, oncology, pediatrics, and a family birthing pavilion! This hospital utilizes the latest in technology and evidence-based practices. This facility utilizes a patient first philosophy.

The Nurse Manager is responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating the management and clinical practice activities for the nursing unit under her charge.Assumes 24 hour responsibility by setting measurable goals and objectives so that optimum patient care is delivered and staff are developed to exert that care in a sensitive and caring manner.

Requirements:

• NYS Licensed Professional Nurse required.
• Specialty Certification required CPAN.
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, BLS, TCARand additional certifications in line with the unit required.
• 3-5 years of clinical experiencewith leadership & management ability. one year of Supervisoryexperience required.
• BSNrequired, Masters preferred
