Project Coordinator
2 years contract position (with opportunity for extension)
Hybrid - required to be in the Albany, New York region to commute to office 2 times a week.
Rate 35.00 to 40.00 per hour
Department Requesting Resource:Standards and Quality Assurance (SQA)
Initiative:The Standards and Quality Assurance team needs a Coordinator to support the team by managing the NY-Sun, Energy Storage and Low Carbon Pathways nonconformances, tracking documents in NEIS, reporting, data analysis, and other related tasks to support the team.
Mandatory Qualifications:- Skilled at data entry and customer facing communications. Reporting and data analysis are common tasks. Ableto triage project requests and distribute tasks to project managers.
- Highly organized and self-motivated. Has extremely high level of attention to detail.
- Has good interpersonal relations with staff. Has friendly, helpful, and positive attitude. Able to take direction and criticism from supervisor and other senior staff.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication is needed. Communications will be both internal and external to all participants in projects.
- Experience with data entry, analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities:- Data entryand processing of contracts in contract management system (NEIS) and ongoing maintenance and QA in various databases.
- Data analysis and reporting, critical thinking.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Support business process improvement efforts
- Communicate with customers and vendors to gather project documentation.
- Support Project Managers and Team Leads on ad-hoc requests for support.
- Central point of communication for communicating with customers and vendors.
- Working with Project Managers to support various strategies and initiatives. General support to Project Managers who are overseeing RFPs and other competitive selection methods (scheduling scoring meetings, notes, etc.).
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts and supporting business process updates.
- Primary responsibility for all metrics collection.
- Other duties as needed that are consistent with this level of staffing to support the general functions of the team.
- Systems that will be used:Buildings Portal, Salesforce, CRIS, SharePoint, Site Capture
Notes from the manager:- SQA programs include NY Sun residential and non-residential, Empower Plus, energy storage, multifamily programs.
- Quality/program compliance (in-field inspections), support development of quality installer designations, etc.
- Key skills: Highly organized, can balance multiple tasks / time management, experience using PM tools.
- Will manage nonconformances, data entry/processing, data analysis and reporting using Salesforce and Tableau, verbal and written customer-facing communications, administrative tasks for the PM to keep the programs running smoothly, support business process updates, etc.
- Is Salesforce/Tableau experience required? Experience with Salesforce and Tableau is nice to have but not required as training will be provided.
- Required industry background- energy efficiency, environmental, contract management background would be great.
- However, priority is finding a well-rounded candidate that meet the above skills requirements. Manager understands these key people may come from a variety of different work backgrounds.
