Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Our high-profile client and American multinational technology corporation is seeking a Critical Environment Facility Support Engineer for a 618-month contract assignment at their facility locatedin Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate holds an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification and previous experience supporting electrical and mechanical systems in a high availability infrastructure environment. Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Location: Des Moines, IA
Pay Range: $43-48/HR on Experis W2
Whats the Job?
- Take daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine rounds/log taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
- Ability to follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities
- Energize a cabinet in a Colo
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) preventative maintenance quarterly and annually
- System control panel preventative maintenance
Whats Needed?
- 5+ years of Experience with electrical systems in a high availability assembly / manufacturing / critical infrastructure environment such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E
- Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code
- Previous datacenter experience a plus
