Experience:

24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

This role will require floating to multiple units

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 -48 GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed

Shift: 8/12 Hr. Days/NOCs

Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation

1:4 on days and pms 1:5-6 on night shift

Population Orthopedic types of surgical patients. We also take medical overflow admission as well including strokes and neurology types of patients.

Required Education: Associate Degree or Certificate

Minimum Experience: 1+ years Med/Surg experience

Charting Experience Required: Epic required within the past 2 years

Scrub Colors: No bright colors or character prints

**candidate must start medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hrs for a quick start

Maximum days off: 14 days

2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type)

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
