    Assembly Technician

    Position Title: Assembly Technician 1st Shift

    Wage: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

    Shift: 1st

    Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm

    Assembly Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    - Read and interpret schematic drawing, diagrams, blueprints specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine material requirements and assembly instruction.

    - Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; install components, units, and wiring using shop tools.

    - Inspect units for accuracy and quality and work with supervisor to resolve issues.

    - Assist in maintaining a well-organized assembly area and part inventory/stocking area.

    - Observe and practice safe working procedures.

    - Assemble electromechanical components with interconnecting wiring.

    - Cut, strip, bend, and mount wires to connect panels.

    - Installs finished assemblies or sub-assemblies into cases or cabinets.

    - Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, and defective materials to shop manager.

    Assembly Technician Requirements:

    - High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

    - Demonstrated attention to detail.

    - Basic math and recording abilities (English).

    - Self-starter, ability to work well within teams and individually, proactive.

    - Strong troubleshooting and quality control skills.

    - Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds.
