Position Description
The Cybersecurity Specialist is a new and exciting opportunity within the growing Information Security team reporting directly to the Group Information Security Officer. The individual will work closely with key stakeholders on the Group level as well as directly support activities across North America. The role combines both operations and development side of broad cyber defense capabilities. As part of your responsibilities, you will help us to increase Refrescos cybersecurity maturity through work on threat visibility, monitoring and detection capabilities and proper response. The role can also include travel to other locations when support of local activities cannot be efficiently handled remotely.
Cyber Program Risk mitigation
- Internally assess, evaluate, and make recommendations regarding the adequacy of the security controls and activities aimed at mitigating risk for North American Business Unit,
- Support new projects or tool introduction by performing risk assessments,
- Support group and local activities aimed at reducing risks and day-to-day operational issues and incidents,
- Support delivery and management of security awareness program acting as the local ambassador.
Governance and Policies
- Support overall Information Security Management System activities including managing tools, documentation etc.
- Implement Group level policies and help to adjust these to local needs,
- Collect metrics in support of governance and continual improvement such as regular Cyber specific KPIs and business unit cybersecurity posture assessments,
- Be actively involved in Group-level interactions and build valuable relationships with internal stakeholders, especially IT, Legal and HR to help with their risk management.
Compliance
- Lead local internal cybersecurity compliance and support audit processes using industry recognized frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, CIS Critical Controls and SOX,
- Provide assurance to external stakeholders, including handling customer/supplier cybersecurity information requests, external audits etc.,
- Monitoring evolving security and privacy risks together with State and Federal laws and regulation.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Higher education degree in information technology, computer science, information security or equivalent,
- At least 3 to 5 years of overall work experience in a similar role,
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF or CIS Critical Security Controls,
- Strong knowledge of current security landscape including evolving threats and potential mitigation,
- High level working knowledge of various security domains inc. network security, identity and access management, application security etc.,
- Professional Services or consulting experience preferable,
- You are eager to work in an entrepreneurial environment in a fast-growing company,
- You have a strong analytical skillset combined with a problem-solving mentality,
- You are used to working under the pressure of a deadline and get things done,
- You are a self-starter, who is able to work independently as well as collaborate in a global team.
Working Conditions:
- Onsite This position offers the flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week.
- Physical Demands Continuously sitting for prolonged periods, as the job is administrative in nature.
- Visual/Sensory This position requires attention to detail, requiring attention with one or two senses at a time.
- Work Environment Work and environment fasted paced, requiring ability to remain focused under pressure.
