The person will manage payment and quality content and methodology market segment growth and adoption strategy and serve as the primary external champion and support to marketing, xc2xa0business development, engagement leads.xc2xa0nAs a Payment and Quality Innovation Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:n * Leading and influencing the market segment strategies for quality and payment innovations with commercial and public payers.xc2xa0 Promoting classification systems for advancing outcomes and efficiency and accelerating trends from FFS to value-based arrangementsn * Working directly with a broad array of stakeholders on initiatives impacting how provider and patient data and payment is classified, paid and evaluated for quality and efficiency leveraging 3M HIS proprietary, third party and public methodologies and content.n * Promote regulatory, legislative, and payment policy changesxc2xa0n * Collaborate with external experts and marketing to fully understand the healthcare patient classification and risk stratification market requirements and operationalization of these solutionsn * Represent 3M HIS in the design and implementation of our payment, quality and episodic classification systems with payers, regulators, and providersn * Be the subject matter expert on the market and classification/health policy design and implementation usage in Medicare, Medicaid, value-based care, risk bearing providers, and Commercial payersn * Provide detailed financial analysis supporting the implementation of health care payment and quality reformsn * Provide input into the prioritization process for proprietary and public product development and enhancement, as well as identify service opportunitiesn * Direct collaboration with BUs engaging and aligning around growing core methodology revenue and penetrationn * Proactive, deliberate, and xe2x80x9creal-timexe2x80x9d management of adoption of payment and quality solutionsn * Provide subject matter expertise via consultation and stakeholder education to support DRE adoption, including 3M HIS methodologies, prospective payment, performance reporting, paying-for-outcomesn * Use consultation and education opportunities to secure VOC intelligence that will support the market adoption effortnYour Skills and ExpertisenTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:n * Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionxc2xa0OR High School Diploma/GED or higher(completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionxc2xa0and a minimum of sixteen (16) years of experience in (Healthcare Business) in lieu of the Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree education requirementn * Ten (10) years of working with payers, vendors, government, research/policy firm in payment and delivery system reform initiativesnAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:n * Master's degree or higher in field related to business, health economics and health policyn * Knowledge healthcare payment policy and system design, claims data elementsn * Experience of working with and/or within health systems, health plans, State Medicaid programs, Medicare program, Medicare Advantage, Commercial payers, value-based care arrangements, and/or Medicaid MCOsn * Previous experience with strategic marketing, product management, product line P/L, designing and evaluating healthcare payment reform policy with a focus upon outcomes and efficiency.n * Health care software management/marketing experiencen * Background in health insurance, health insurance operations, medical management/ quality improvement, provider contracting and reimbursementxc2xa0xc2xa0nTravel: Occasional travel may be requirednRelocation Assistance: Not authorizednLocation: Remote, Denver, CO , Murray, UT, Silver Spring, MD, Albany, NY, Atlanta, GA, Pittsburgh, PA, Meriden, CTnMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).nSupporting Your Well-beingxc2xa0n3M offers many programs to help you live your best life xe2x80x93 both physically and financially.
