    Sodexo is seeking a District Manager to lead our partnership with child nutrition for Fort Worth ISD in Fort Worth, TX. Ft. Worth ISD prepares all students for success in college, career, and community leadership. With nearly 70,000 students and 140+ schools, Fort Worth ISD enjoys a diverse student population and strong community partnerships. FWISDs Gold Seal Early College High Schools promote students future success with T-STEM (Texas Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and Pathways in Technology programs. Additionally, the districts Leadership Academies leverage their local university partnership to sustain recent academic gains.

    The Child Nutrition District Manager will be a strategic visionary that balances prudence and practicality in supporting FWISD's Child Nutrition missionto meet or exceed dietary guidelines, provide appropriate, outstanding menu choices, and promote nutrition education among their students.As Sodexo's top performer, you must be highly motivated, community/service minded, detailed oriented, strong communicator, coupled with a strong financial acumen to serve as a positive role model for the team and the District.

    This role will require the adaptability to engage in daily supervision, training and influence of the management team and concurrently demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at the executive level. The Child Nutrition District Manager must be able to affect change and lead teams with inclusivity in the direction to connect and inspire an exemplary student experience.


    Additional responsibilities include compliance of all child nutrition program regulations and laws under the USDA and TDA by overseeing:

    • Ensuring an atmosphere that safeguards childrens health and well-being
    • Prioritizing and monitoring operational standards
    • Implementing and maintaining HACCP standards
    • Outstanding catering events
    • Proper ordering and inventory compliance
    • Delivering budgeted financial results
    • Manages by providing constructive feedback in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate employees
    • Maintain and develops client relationships and customer satisfaction
    • Menu Developing menus that are innovative that to fit the needs of the students and community within USDA guidelines
    • Establishing and maintains a safe work environment

    Bachelor's degree in food nutrition, home economics or related field required; Master's degree preferred; 5 years in school nutrition required. Bilingual preferred. Valid driver's license required.
