A leading assisted living community located in the heart of Vermont is now seeking an experienced Nurse Manager Long Term Care Dementia Unit to join their comprehensive medical team.

Situated on nearly 40 acres in central Vermont, this location offers care to roughly 100 senior residents in an independent and private setting. This pet-friendly location offers modern private living spaces as well as various shared spaces and outdoor grounds to adventure. Partnering with a leading acute care facility, this community has completely reimagined what a full-service retirement community could be.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager will lead the daily clinical and administrative functions of the 36-bed Dementia Unit. The Nurse Manager collaborates with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with dementia. They will oversee staff scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient use of resources. Additionally, the Nurse Manager serves as a mentor and leader, fostering a positive work environment and providing guidance and support to the staff. They work closely with families, addressing their concerns and providing updates on the well-being of the residents.

What Makes You Awesome:

• Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Vermont or ability to obtain
• Prior experience in a Long Term Care setting
• Background working with dementia patients is a plus
