    Nurse Manager Ambulatory Surgery

    An award-winning acute care hospital located in central New York is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Manager Ambulatory Surgery to join their established healthcare system.

    This regional leading medical center is home to over 500 inpatient beds and provides a wide variety of awarded acute care services. This location offers exceptional emergency and critical care, womens health and birthing services, cardiology, oncology, behavioral health, surgical services, pediatrics, and much more. The Nurse Manager Ambulatory Surgery will join a system that strives to provide optimal patient outcomes and promote ongoing community health.

    Reporting to the DirectorPerioperative Services, the Nurse Manager Ambulatory Surgery will oversee all clinical and administrative operations of themulti-specialty outpatient surgical center which houses 5 pre-op bays, 4ORs, and 20 post-op bays.As the Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care within the ASC setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and administrative staff, to achieve optimal outcomes and maintain regulatory compliance. Other responsibilities include providing direction and training to the nursing staff, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, maintain a safe and supportive work environment, oversee quality control and infection prevention programs, manage center supplies and inventory, and represent the department in various hospital-wide committees.

    • Bachelors degree in Nursing BSN
    • Registered Nurse license in the state of New York or ability to obtain
    • Prior leadership experience in an outpatient surgery setting
