As the leader of the Cath Lab, the Director spearheads a 24/7, high-capacity department equipped with two catheterization lab suites. Supported by an exceptionally skilled team of Cardiovascular Board-Certified nurses and adept technicians, they collaborate closely with a cadre of Board-Certified Physicians. Notably, the hospital is experiencing swift expansion, and the Cardiology Department is evolving in tandem.

The Cardiac Cath Lab Director assumes a pivotal role in steering the Catheterization Lab team, overseeing essential aspects of both clinical and administrative operations within the department. This Director takes charge of guiding the Safety Review Committee Program and actively upholds the pre-established Standard of Excellence set by the Cardiology Nurses in the department. The Director is entrusted with the task of preserving and implementing the philosophy, goals, and policies and procedures as outlined by the Cardiology Department. Beyond guiding and mentoring the staff, their responsibility extends to ensuring unwavering adherence to high-quality patient care standards throughout the Catheterization Lab.

This organization is seeking a candidate with a current New Mexico RN License, more than seven years of healthcare experience, three in leadership, and for-profit hospital experience strongly preferred.
