Your Role:

The Blue Shield of California Growth and Servicing analytics organization is part of the centralized Data and Analytics organization and oversees Channel Analytics including Digital, Marketing, Claims, Appeals, Grievances, Disputes and Line of Business. This role Senior Medical Informatics Analytics would report to the Senior Director of Growth and Servicing Analytics and would be responsible for supporting the growth and retention Individual Family Plan members.

Your Work:

In this role, you will:

• Data Set Creation: Utilize SQL, SAS, or Python to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets, focusing on membership, claims, sales, broker, and provider data related to BSCs Individual Market product, which includes products administered through California Health Exchange (Covered California) and direct sales.
• Analytics & Modeling: Perform in-depth membership analyses and models to understand and predict member behavior, changes in trends, and uncover actionable insights to improve member acquisition, engagement, health, retention, and experience.
• Dashboards: Design and build visualization (Tableau) dashboards to promote self- serve.
• Quality Control: Implement validation and checks for all processes, analytics, models, outcomes to ensure deliverables are accurate.Quality Control: Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, analytics workflows, and reporting methodologies.
• Partnership Requirements: Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams, Product, Data Engineering, IT, Finance, Actuarial etc. to deliver strategic and financial goals.

Your Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelorsdegree in mathematics, Economics,Business Analysis, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• 3+ years working with Health Care data.
• Requires Working knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, Netezza etc.); Advanced SAS, SQL, Python skills to interact with data, Advanced Tableau skills to create reports and visualization.
• Knowledge and experience supporting the California Health Exchange a plus.
• Ability to partner with all levels of staff and adapt quickly to shifting and/or competing priorities.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $ 99000.00 to $ 148500.00 for California.
