Our client, in consumer packaged goods industryis seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have CapEx, project management and excellent communication skillswhich will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ / REMOTE Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)

Pay Range: $35 - $41 hourly

Contract: 1 year (extension/conversion to permanent possible)

Whats the Job?

• Within Packaging Capex and Utilities, the Capex Assistant Sourcing Procurement Manager is responsible for the sourcing strategy development, implementation, and procurement in the Capex procurement category for their geography
• Support Procurement Manager with delivering key targets related to Cost and Cash, Quality and Service, Innovation and Sustainable Living.
• Experience buying Capex & MRO projects. Experience in engineering and renewable technologies is a plus
• Ability to analyse sourcing data and conceptualise sourcing strategies to identify / propose sourcing opportunities while setting Portfolio strategy or developing negotiation strategies
• Influencing skills to promote ideas and concepts back to stakeholders and budget holders in a Business Partner capacity

Whats Needed?

• 5 years experience in Procurement, Supply Management
• Project Management & Capex experience required
• Run RFPs experience
• Experience in purchasing of manufacturing equipment or construction or packaging preferred
• Strong communicator with experience in working successful in virtual team environments
