    RN GIG- Flex/Per Diem/PRN - St Louis Region

    Calling all Nurses!

    Per Diem/Flex/PRN Float RN's

    $40/hour + Variable Shift incentive

    Flexibility in Day/Night and Number of hours worked

    Overview:

    The GIG Nursing Program is designed to complement the full and part-time core nursing staff at Mercy Hospital. GIG nurses are highly skilled Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses who commit to work flexible hours. Participation in the GIG Nursing Program requires scheduling a minimum number of hours, available on short notice, being flexible and subject to last minute shift cancellation. The GIG Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first for cancellation.

    The Registered Nurse-GIG will float between the designated Mercy Hospital facilities in the below departments:

    Critical Care, Tele, Med/surg, L&D, Behavioral Health, ER

    Facilities in the St Louis Region include:
    • Mercy- St Louis
    • Mercy Jefferson- Festus
    • Mercy South- South St Louis County
    • Mercy Washington- Washington, MO
    • Mercy Lincoln- Troy, MO

    • Behavioral Health
    • Emergency Department


    Qualifications:
    • Licensure: Current Multistate Registered Nurse License.
    • Experience: Minimum 1 years' RN hospital bedside experience specialty specific, must be within the last year.
    • Certifications: BLS certified. One or more certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
    • Preferred Education: BSN
    • Preferred Experience: 2 years RN experience.
