Position Title: Service Technician

Wage: $30.00 - $38.00/hour

Shift: 1st

The role involves traveling throughout the Midwest (50% - 60%) and great earning potential with wages starting at $29 - $34/hr. Service Technician Responsibilities:

- Provide support in troubleshooting problems with customer equipment

- Assist with onsite new machine installations and perform routine and/or emergency mechanical, electrical and instrumentation service

- Assist with training customer operation and maintenance personnel with emphasis on safe operation and establishing a zero-energy state during maintenance

- Provide follow-up documentation, such as installation and service records and trip reports/expenses

- Assist with detecting defective/faulty materials or equipment

Requirements for Service Technician:

- Experience and/or knowledge of Industrial machine maintenance

- Experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment

- Experience reading equipment schematics and/or diagrams

- Extensive domestic travel is required (a minimum of 50% of the time is on the road; home weekends). Occasional international travel as necessary

- Post-secondary education in related field or 5+ years experience is preferred (ex. Mechanical, Millwright, Automotive, Maintenance)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a plus

- Able to pass DOT physical

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

- Able to climb, twist and kneel throughout shift

- Able to lift up to 50lbs
