Title: Part Time Clinical Dietitian
Location: Columbus Regional Healthcare System
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday and an additional day, as needed. 16-24 hours per week
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic and compassionate healthcare team as a Part Time Clinical Dietitian at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in an acute care, patient-centered environment, providing top-notch care to a diverse patient population. The Clinical Dietitian will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients.
About the Hospital:
Columbus Regional Healthcare System was founded in 1935 when local physician Dr. Warren Edwin Miller started a 12-bed hospital in a Victorian home in Whiteville. A year later, the home?s porches were enclosed to accommodate more patients. Over the next 70 years, the hospital would be replaced twice. The current facility was dedicated December 11, 1977, and continues to grow and expand to meet the needs of the community.
Today, CRHS boasts an impressive and highly trained medical staff and other healthcare professionals who represent a range of specialties and are dedicated to the well-being of every patient in their care. Licensed for 154 beds, Columbus Regional Healthcare System is a not-for-profit organization accredited by DNV GL Healthcare.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
- Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required or the ability to obtain RD / RDN
- Licensed Dietitian status in North Carolina
- At least 2 years of clinical practice experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
