The Critical Care Nurse Manager will have an open door policy to the Director of Critical Care as well as other C- Suite Executives while assisting in overseeing the Critical Care Unit. They will work closely with ICU RN managers, Inpatient Nursing Unit Managers, Critical Care Nurse Educators as well as many CCRN Nurses.

The Critical Care Nurse Manager will collaborate with other Hospital Leaders for the overall support in the organization. This Manager level position is very much a team effort to be sure that guidelines/policies are being followed and that patient needs are being met.The Critical Care Nurse Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality care to patients while assisting with budgets, policies, procedures to support the framework of the Critical Care Unit.They will oversee new hires into the department and service as a mentor for medical professionals that are looking to grow into clinical leaders. They will be sure that training and continuing education is being met by all persons in the department.
