    What you will do
    Johnson Controls has a phenomenal opportunity for a Senior Sprinkler Service Technician! You will have the chance to respond to emergency sprinkler service calls as you are dispatched from our call center. This will include troubleshooting sprinkler head leaks, valve work, pipe breaks, fire pumps and backflow equipment. This role is also responsible for deficiency repair work involving the repairs of sprinkler items found to be deficient during inspections. Theres a schedule requirement of one week on a rotating schedule. This position is based in New Cumberland, PA, and will require local travel to customer locations and sites.

    How you will do it

    • Perform the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems

    • Maintain proper documentation for work performed and must adhere to company safety policies and procedures

    • Use applications on mobile device to close calls and debrief paperwork

    • Receive verbal and written instructions, as well as provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices

    • Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs

    • Perform physical labor; perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment

    • Maintain a clean and safe work area

    What we look for
    Required

    • 5+ years of fire sprinkler service experience

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    • Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision

    • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude

    • Capable of performing physical labor

    Preferred

    • NICET Certification
