Experience:

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Acute Care Float Pool experience is required.

12 months of travel experience is required.

3 months of experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license in hand at the time of application.

This role will require floating to multiple units

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

Shift: Days/Eves/Nights & EOW

Must be able to read tele strips

Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg areas (Dav 5, Dav 7, Dav 8, Dav 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, & Overflow). 3

Experience Required: Two years of acute care hospital experience.

Skill Sets Required: Flexible, Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours.

Patient Population: In the ED only care for patients who are bordering, in the adult behavioral health unit only the medication nurse, in the ICU care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready

Must pass EKG exam

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
