Job Summary

Cognizants Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Android Support Engineer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.

Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our engineers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what were doing wrong, so we can fix it, and what were doing right, so we can improve on it. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support android mobile applications.
• Resolve production issues.
• Create SOPs, application handbooks.
• Communicate with customer business and technical point of contacts.
• Identify manual processes and automate.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in Android development, Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio.
• 8+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in support project.
• 3 + years of experience in cloud platforms preferable GCP.
• Good understanding of ITSM process.
