Facilities Engineer
What you will do
The Facility Engineer will be part of a dynamic global real estate, facility management, project management, and energy management team which supports over 100,000 employees, more than 1500 locations in 150+ countries. This role will impact and be directly responsible driving excellence in operations through standardizing principles, processes and disciplines. The Facility Engineer will be responsible for coordination, implementation and on-going monitoring of both local and global programs in the areas of real estate, facility management, project management and energy management with a focus on the technical aspect of those functions.
How you will do it
Responsible for management of enterprise systems such as Access Control, Video Management, Building Automation, etc.
Supports the team in execution of real estate, facility management, project management, and energy management across the global portfolio by leveraging technical engineering expertise and background.
Support LEED, WELL and other Sustainability initiatives.
Responsible for tracking and evaluating key performance indicators and quality of key global suppliers of services.
Responsible for oversite and management of analytical tools used by the broader team for execution of mutual goals.
Responsible for oversite and management of specialty projects connected to transformation of the business.
Responsible for assembling plans, interact with collaboration tools (SharePoint) and action items assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis.
Responsible for working with finance teams on the budgeting for capital projects and annual facilities operating costs.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and complies with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
Performs other duties as required.
What we look for
Bachelors degree required in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, or MBA
Five years or less experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other 3-D design tools.
Proficiency working the Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Access
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and customer interface skills are required.
Problem solving and innovative resolution ability and the ability to be a highly effective team member are required.
