Job Summary and Qualifications

The General/Vascular Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic procedures with the use of ultrasound, with protocols outlined by the radiologist.

What you will do in this role:

• Operate diagnostic equipment, process images and prepare room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.
• Select proper technical factors, producing diagnostic quality images, and competent in the operation of equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining credentials and obtaining the required CEUs for certification.
• Assistance is also needed by the physicians during invasive procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

• Graduate of an AMA approved Ultrasound school.

• Previous Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred.
