The Nurse Director Med Surg Telemetry will join a 200+ bed acute care hospital in the greater Orlando region of Florida. The RN Director Med Surg will have extensive opportunities for learning and career advancement, as this medical facility boasts acclaimed cardiac and stroke programs, swift emergency room services, and excellence in medical and surgical specialties.

The RN Telemetry Med Surg Nurse Director will oversee all department operations of two medical surgical units spanning across multiple inpatient specialties including ortho, trauma, oncology, float pool, and cardiac telemetry. The RN Director Telemetry Med Surg will report directly to the CNO, ACNO, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

The Nurse Director Telemetry Med Surg will have the support of Med Surg and Cardiac Telemetry Nurse Managers, Assistant Nurse Managers, Clinical Nurse Coordinators, Med Surg RNs, Charge Nurses, Patient Care Techs, Lead Patient Care Techs, and Nurse Externs. The Nurse Director Telemetry Med Surg will oversee approximately 80 FTEs.

The ideal Nurse Med Surg Telemetry Director candidate will possess a RN license, and a minimum of 5 to 10 years of registered nurse (RN) experience along with 3-5 years of advanced leadership experience in Med Surg, Cardiac Telemetry, or PCU/Stepdown settings. They must also obtain or actively work towards a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
