    General Labor, Bakery- Production isresponsible for the final forming of the units to product specifications and slicing product tops to specification. Aligning product entering the oven on to the proofer board. Monitoring the quality of the product on the, Rheon line, Proofer boards, exiting the oven and packing. Assure that scheduled budgeted pounds are completed while maintaining waste control. Document line checks accurately and timely. The incumbent are to maintain the sanitary conditions of the Rheon line, Proofer, Scoring, Oven and packing areas to meet safety and GMPs standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assure the final forming of the product to specifications.
    • Slice tops to product specifications.
    • Monitor the units on the Proofer plates to ensure they are meeting quality specifications.
    • Align product on Proofer plates for efficiency as they travel to the oven.
    • Align units exiting the oven onto the cooling conveyor for maximum cooling.
    • Perform general sanitation cleanup of Proofer workstation and oven areas.
    • Assure cutting blades are sharp for cutting product and are disposed of properly.
    • Assist Oven Operator to maintain process control of the Proof Box and Oven.
    • Awareness of the daily production shift schedule.
    • Plan, direct, organize, and coordinate daily activities at the Rheon Line.
    • Verify floor batch time to assure dough is acceptable for forming units.
    • Verify texture of dough to assure product units will develop through the process system as expected.
    • Set and verify that the process line control parameters are to specifications.
    • Continually monitor controls to ensure that product is to specifications.
    • Assure that flour dusters are maintained filled at all times.
    • Monitor number of batch containers on floor to be processed to assure they do not exceed the line capacity.
    • Verify that targeted units per proofer plates are to target specifications.
    • Assure that mechanical line moving parts are functioning as expected. Report any mal-functioning or potential mechanical failures to supervisor.
    • Assure that the Rheon Line, workstations, are maintained organize and safe for working.
    • Continually communicate with Lead on dough conditions and quantity.
    • Record Quality Control checks accurately and timely.
    • Continually weigh units to ensure product is within weight specifications.
    • Awareness of Lockout/Tagout procedures and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
    • Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
    • Works to maintain and improve on the quality, legality and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture. Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a Supervisor immediately.

    Skills, Experience & Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
    • Ability to define and solve problems.
    • Ability to write clearly and legibly and possess basic effective verbal and written skills in English.
    • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings.

    Shift: 2nd (2 pm - 10:30 pm) *Must work weekends*
