• Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.

• Support the organizations mission, vision and values.
• Responsible for demonstrating the knowledge and skills to carry out tasks and functions in the nursing care and preparation of patients for surgical procedure, and assisting surgeons during the surgical procedure
• Function as a member of the sterile team include creating and maintaining a sterile field, issuing instruments to the surgeon

Job Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Proficient in sterile techniques to instruments, supplies and equipment
• Knowledgeable of the proper technique in handling, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments
• Knowledgeable of operating an autoclave
• Knowledgeable of the principles of sterile processing and previous experience in SPD

Preferred Job Requirements

• Graduate of OR School of Technology and/or certification in OR Technology
• Certification in OR Technology
