    Technical Project Manager

    As the Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the engineering teams that are aligned to two projects within the Cyber Resiliency Program.

    This role provides leadership for multi-year technology-related projects, with cross-divisional impact, ensuring that all projects under management meet expected delivery dates, budget allocations, and regulatory requirements. Leads and directs the activities of a group of specialists.

    In this role, you will:

    • Manage technology projects or multiple technical workstreams within a broader project or program. Develop, implement, and monitor project plans. Drive all phases of the project lifecycle from inception through implementation while ensuring that business objectives are delivered with high quality and within targeted timeframes.
    • Provide insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.
    • Communicate project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influence key decisions across stakeholder groups.
    • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and any related issues on technology projects. Communicate solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.
    • Work with product owners and management to define and prioritize technology-related outcomes. Identify trade-offs between short- and long-term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner.
    • Ensure the application of agile frameworks to the development process to increase effectiveness of technology-related product development or architecture.
    • Lead daily scrum meetings, iteration reviews, and maintain backlogs.


    What it takes:

    • Experience with Agile teams.
    • Experience with Confluence, JIRA, technology dashboards and other big picture planning practices.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
    • Ability to manage concurrent projects and prioritizing work in an efficient manner.
    • Establishing and developing relationships with others.
    • Working familiarity with AWS platform components and services.
    • Desire to quickly learn and grow your expertise.
    • Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred.
    • Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering) required. Graduate degree preferred.
