    Maintenance Mechanic Lead

    What You Will Do:

    • Interfaces with production/warehouse supervision to effect safe repairs to equipment and ensures that equipment is returned to operations in an acceptable condition
    • Performs regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and monthly safety checks
    • Makes repairs & modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system
    • Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the Engineering Manager to ensure data is correct and recorded

    Position Details:

    Sign On Bonus - $1,500.00
    1st installment $750.00 paid on Associate's regularly scheduled payroll- after start date
    2nd installment $750.00 paid after completing 90 days after start date
    To be eligible for the sign on bonus, candidates must not have worked for Ecolab in any capacity in the previous 12 months

    • Plant location: Kennesaw
    • Work week and shift: 6:30am 3:30pm (OT as required)
    • Compensation package offered: $30-$34 per hour

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • 4years of experiencein an industrial maintenance environment
    • 3 years of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment
    • 3 years of experience with tools, procedures, and methods utilized in an industrial maintenance environment.
    • 3 years of experience with electronic and PLC-based applications in an industrial environment.

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis on industrial applications or equivalent job experience in electricity, power distribution, industrial electrical wiring, mechanics, machine operations, heating ventilation, and air conditioning
    • Able to work in difficult situations such as confined spaces, heat and in high places
    • Experience with pumps, welding, bearings, electrical safety, forklifts, gears, hydraulics, valves and rigging
    • Experience in a Lean Environment
