We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Cat Scan Technologist to join the Mountainside Team!

What Youll Do

The Cat Scan Technologist will be responsible for performing Cat Scan diagnostic imaging and Cat Scan interventional procedures on adult and pediatric patients.

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Prepare patients for scanning
• Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered
• Provide accurate explanations and instructions
• Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines
• Monitor the patients physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned

What Youll Bring

• HighSchool Diploma or GED required; Associates degree is Applied Sciencepreferred
• A minimum of 3 years experience in CT scan
• Active and current New Jersey State LicenseNJDEP Radiologic Technologist
• Maintains CEU Credits
• American Registry of Radiology Technologist (A.R.R.T.) certification
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
