    Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

    Experience:

    24 months of role experience is required.

    24 months of Step Down Unit experience is required.

    Travel experience is preferred.

    Requirements:

    Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license prior to placement start.

    Candidates must live at least 100 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

    Additional Details:

    A minimum of 2 years acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

    weekends and holidays as needed

    PCU/SDU experience is required

    ICU experience also highly preferred as RN may float to CCU Float to Med/Surg

    The critical care nurse provides direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients, in a highly technical and ongoing monitoring environment. They assess the patients condition, perform diagnostic tests, begin treatments and assist doctors with any required medical procedures. The critical care nurse monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interprets and records electronic displays; i.e. intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, pulmonary artery pressures, cardiac rhythms, ventilator settings, etc. PCU/SDU experience is required, and ICU experience also highly preferred as RN may float to CCU.
