Position Title: Welder 2nd Shift

Wage: $22.00 - $28.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Welder Responsibilities:

- Use provided setup sheet operators to verify correct filler metal is installed

- Adjust weld gas flow

- Set up manual weld machine or download program per set up sheet instructions

- Verify proper tooling is installed in the robot or staged in manual area

- Review weld requirements from weld prints (size, spacing, location, ECT)

- Load and locate parts into tooling per print and work instructions

- Weld part per costumer provided prints

- Remove weld spatter and scale from finished parts

- Remove material by grinding (metal finishing) using power tools and manually to meet customer specifications

- Perform quality checks

- Maintain welding equipment

Requirements for Welder:

- Able to read weld prints or have the ability to learn

- Able to pass manual weld test and written weld tests

- Demonstrate proficiency in welding using various processes

- Knowledge of or the ability to gain knowledge of weld filler wire, weld gas applications

- Able to or have the ability learn to download programs to robot work centers

- Able to read blueprints, including dimensions, views, and welding symbols

- Able to use or have the ability to learn to use various precision measuring tools

- Working knowledge of or able to gain a working knowledge of weld fixtures
